    It's worth a stop on your way or way back from Arthur's Seat. You can sit in the back audience during a live session for free. The wood interior of The Debating Chamber is quite nice.

    I like the building. Public official buildings should be a bit daft, it punctures the natural sanctimoniousness of people who tend to inhabit them.

    Anyone with Shetland connections who doses the tour will notice the designer missed Shetland off the map of Scotland. Maybe he knew something that we don't about an independent Scotland.
