Great place to walk around at. Amazing trees, be sure to find the John C Fremont Tree!
Be sure to stop by the visitors ctr, there's a lot of cool things to see & do. To the far right (towards bay) of the v.c. is a fountain/faucet, use it to clean sand off you or your kids.
It's a nice stop. Good time for a potty break & some photos. But be sure to get back on the train b4 they ring the bell, cause there's always a jerk or 2 that will take ur seats.
