Ambiance is what's good! Place has a great concept, but service is very slow due to their success. Bartender 'handler' takes your order, but you don't realize you are 10 or more in line for drink.

Come early to get a table. They are prime real estate and some drinks can only be ordered at a table.

Finely balanced tiki drinks, not sugar bombs. Originals were excellent, Mastodon was my personal favorite.

A Tiki Bar should be kitschy. This place has it in spades. The Hemingway Daiquiri which is often made wrong is ALWAYS spot on here

We call it "pirate bar." There are some delicious punch bowls. Just be prepared to wait in line and use your indoor voices while you do it.

Well made cocktails but no table service. Cramped, dark bar = super cool? Drinks are good but super sweet and take forever to make. Feels like a spot to have round and the bounce to the next spot.

Drinks are amazing. Loved the pina colada. If you park nearby, make sure valuables are out of sight to avoid a smash and grab.

I'm a pirate argh! The bartender lights the rum on fire, then immediately sprinkles a generous dash of cinnamon on top... That's the one you wanna order. Also, you can ask for the Painkiller #5.

Amazing rum/tiki drinks. Go early or on a weeknight—otherwise wait in line like you're trying to get into a club in LA outside.

Try the Rhum Neisson Eleve Sous Bois - #kvpmybelly - Smooth sugar-cane #rum. Aged in American/French oak for about a year. I can sip this all day!

It was cool. I liked the flights. The bowl drinks tasted a little thin -- I left without a buzz. Only go if you are into rum, because there's little else being served, but of rum there is plenty.

Great drinks - if you don't mind waiting 15-20 minutes to get one. Why does it have to be SO SLOW? EVERY. TIME.

Great place to get a delicious cocktail, especially if you love rum. Go early it's a small bar and will fill up fast. Worth the wait. Try a El Draque or Smugglers Cove signature drink in a Rum Barrel.

great place for a meet and greet with your new friends. and only a 15-20 minute walk from Hotel Whitcomb! we spent hours just sitting and getting to know one another with only having one drink.

You have to be seated to get a volcano bowl. Be patient and the tables turn over quickly.
