Visit the Veiakio. It has good bathroom facilities & cheap tickets. If the concert isn't sold out, you can pick a seat. Also "Mosh pit" style standing.... Smokers are a letdown, but it IS in Greece.

Climb to the top and listen to cicadas during the day. Catch a show if you can get tickets at night. Try to be the last to leave so you can catch a glimpse of the empty theatre in the moonlight.
If you run out of battery in your cell phone there are free charging stations both in arrivals and departures hall. You will find plugs for most cell phone brands as well regular electricity plugs.

Once you've made the mistake of going through security too early and realized there are no restaurants at the gates you can take solace in the fairly good and reasonably priced coffee at Illy kiosk.

If you have more than an hour to burn here and are looking for a quite place with comfy sofas, go to the sofitel hotel outside across the terminal and sit in their lobby!

Welcome to the Acropolis Museum! Definitely a must visit while in Athens. Be sure to see the Parthenon Gallery, while gazing at one of the ancient world's greatest structures.
3rd floor is the best, storing all Parthenon marbles. Shame on the British Museum!
The cafe on the 2nd flr is really good and not expensive! Wait to get a table on the patio, it's totally worth it for the view :)

Great museum with hundreds of finds and statues from the Acropolis site. New, open and airy: it's a wonderful respite from the summer heat of the city. Only 5 euro entry makes it a must do in Athens!
$25 admission fee is not cheap, but there are plenty of things included in the price of admission. The most important: don't miss taking the train that takes you to the bottom of the canyon.
