The fish is fresh and delicious, and they do an equally good job at nigiris/sashimis and their elaborate makis. Plus the complimentary seaweed tempura and sauces is amazing.

Great sushi, wait staff, & atmosphere! We had the angry salmon, coast crab Maki and white dragon Maki. Both were great, but the coast crab was amazing! Type of place where they pour your beer for you.

Awesome ambiance but not BYOB like the one in Bucktown. They have half off bottles of Saki, Wine & Champagne on Mondays and they always bring a complimentary taster to the table :)

SCS has some of the best sushi I've had in Chicago. They also make a great martini. Atmosphere might be considered swanky by some, and would be a hit for date night.

It is SO dimly lit, if you're looking for romantic ambiance. Otherwise, you just feel like you're on a date even when you're not. #AWKWARD

Seaweed tempura is to die from ;) Avoid the Fresh Philly-it's far too bland. Hipster vibe but casual dress works
