The food is great, always was. We have been going here 4 more than 20 years. We even drive from New Braunfels to eat there. They have gotten too expensive & started adding gratuity to their checks.

I come here at least once every 2 weeks - the chicken tikka masala (mahkni) is the best I've ever had. The naan is fluffy, crispy, and warm, too. Get yourself to Taj Palace!

Get the square opaque desserts, "barfi." the name is weird, but it has a life-changing flavor. If you're into having your life changed by gustatory bliss, get the barfi.

Hands-down, the best Indian Buffet I've had. Nan is amazing; salad dressing is freshly made; tomato soup is to die for. Delicious!

Get the shrimp biryani. I've eaten here at least 30 times and the shrimp biryani tonight is blowing my mind!! Extra yogurt is a must!

I was expecting bold flavors but found everything to be really bland. It’s probably a good starter restaurant for folks who are new to Indian cuisine.
