A truly amazing and unique experience! The owner and staff are extremely passionate and kind. Chat with them and you'll be rewarded. Also ask for Simon the tea toy, you won't regret it.

The only place in NYC where you can get traditional Chinese tea served using a gaiwan! The owner is super knowledgeable. Be prepared to sit and stay a while, enjoying good tea takes time :) En savoir plus

The place is great, it will take you through a classic Gong Fu Cha ceremony and you will love it. But the prices make it unrepeatable. Absolutely worth a single visit.

Dylan gave us the best service. The owner is extremely knowledgeable. Come here with a few friends or alone! Relaxing atmosphere, quiet, dim lighting, and spectacular tea.

Tea lovers will delight themselves in the calm and serene atmosphere you will enjoy while you sip your favorite type of Chinese tea. Quite an experience they have created here.

The Ba Da Pur- erh is a good choice for a smooth citurs taste. Make sure to pick a tea drinking animal buddy. Also look for Dillian, he can recommend a nice tea for newbies to the tea world

This Chinese tea nook is small and serious, with a limited selection of teas (focusing mostly on green, oolong, and white styles) and a deep offering of knowledge and exploration.

Take two hours or longer to enjoy beautiful unique rare green tea, oolong tea, and many more. Sourced with passion and brewed in the traditional way with friendly service. A real New York find!

Good place for a rainy afternoon or slow night to learn and sip real teas. They've got an extensive menu and knowledgeable staff, and don't forget to grab a tea friend.

A cozy and warm atmosphere. Be prepared to stay for a while and learn a lot. Don't be afraid to ask questions and certainly grab a tea friend :) This is not the place for a quick to-go cup.

This place is awesome! Extremely authentic Chinese tea house! Shunan and Nicole are awesome! I have a particular pallet and discussed it with them and was given a tea that was amazing! Serious!

The tiny tea room is quiet and decor is a minimalist union of wooden furniture and calligraphy. The menu informs you of each tea’s regional origin and of the season in which the leaves were harvested.

The menu may not be too helpful when it comes to qualitative descriptors, but that’s what the owner is there for! She is super knowledgeable and will elect a flavor you’re sure to enjoy. En savoir plus

Despite not knowing any of the teas on the menu, I was very happy with a nice, floral pu'er. Service and atmosphere is lovely. And everyone gets a "tea pet"!

Great concept but the tea tends towards expensive and the staff grazes condescension - nothing worse than the coffee people would throw, but still.

Fairly expensive but very good and super authentic. You'll learn all about becoming tea drunk. It's a thing.

Check out the collection of beautiful tea pots on the wall by the entrance. I'd like to have a cup from each of them.

Expensive tea experience for the inexperienced tea drinker, but very enjoyable as the host did everything

I'm sure tea is high quality and authentic, but it's very pricy. The cheapest pot of tea is $15, on average around $30 and above. I'm not sure the quality of tea and experience justify the price.

They serve Chinese-style gong fu cha in a tiny peaceful space. The focus is really on savoring the classic, traditional teas of mainland China. I don't think they serve food.

So pretentious. I just wanted tea in adult size mug, is it too much to ask for?
