I love tea and vegetarian Asian food, so this place is great for people like me. Have the seitan stir fry. If it's Monday, try the okonomiyaki. Beware the teapots designed to spill everywhere.

Ginger scones, THE salty oak cookie with chocolate, the salmon and naan sandwich , and the shrimp noodles are great. Breakfast rocks with the waffle and the chicken sausage.

The Tea at Teaism is amazing and varied. Black, Green, and White teas. Asian/India/N.African menu. Great atmosphere with the best classic Jazz tunes playing.

The tea selection is really great, fan of golden monkey and oolongs. Their dishes are really nice, everything from cookies to hot plates.

They list "fresh" ginger ale on the menu- which I read as made in house. Sorely mistaken when I was handed a bottle of Bruce Cost Gingerale, made in Brooklyn.

If you've overdone the salmon bento box and are looking for variety, the thai chicken curry with crisp veggies and brown rice will satisfy your tastebuds.

Everyone comes to get the salty oat cookies ($1.95), but the Bento boxes ($8.75) have a little more substance. Of course they have lots of tea iced or hot. They even use tea to flavor their salmon. En savoir plus

Preaching to the choir, but you MUST try one of their life-changing salty oat cookies. And their chicken udon soup is perfect when you're under the weather!

Get the salmon ochazuke. They give you a pot of green tea with it that you pour on top to make a soup. But ditch the wasabi. I like spicy food but it overpowers this dish.

Their "Japanese food" isn't actually Japanese, but some sort of a twist. However all their tea is fantastic!

Went to a wedding celebration last night that was catered by Teaism. Amazin food. My favorite was a sweet potatoe,mushroom, and green bean salad. Delish.

Ginger scones! It's all about the ginger scones. Also, the french toast is only on weekends, but pretty damn good.

Best value: Today's Iced Tisane. $1.75 plus unlimited refills. All teas are delicious. Also try the sweet naan. Om nom nom.
