I've said it before and I'll say it again: Hotel bars are the best bars, because they're so comfortable and assured of themselves. This one stands above the rest.

Nice selection of specialty and classic cocktails. It's a cozy dark hideout in an otherwise massive hotel. Wonderful cold weather drink stop if you're in the area.

Try a hum & soda. Hum is a locally made rum infused with Fair Trade Hibiscus Flowers, Organic Ginger, Green Cardamom and Kaffir Lime. Think of it as a trip to an Asian spice market in your mouth.

Whisky flights are a great way to try lots of different flavors and learn subtle differences. GREAT flight list of Scotches in The Bar!

The French 77 champagne cocktail is delicious! I also like the jet-li and specialty martini's with st. germaine. Relaxing, upscale atmosphere. Cozy seating near fireplace gr8 during Chicago winters
