You want to come here for the perfect well balanced meticulously crafted cocktails. The ambience is stylish and classy. If the bar area is too noisy, get your drink and sit in the lobby.

The extensive cocktail list, executed by a literal assembly line of bartenders, is made of a small collection of classics as well as over 30 of their own selections, all overseen by Leo Robitschek.

Actually open throughout the day - after 4 they limit to hotel guests according to the website. Walk towards reception, bear left through the restaurant and to the left of the bar to get here.

One of the coolest rooms in all of NYC. Bring your dates or your friends and lounge like a king. It's pricey though and it's only open to hotel guests after like 7pm.

This combination bar/library is a cozy place to wile away the afternoon/evening. Like the older, more fancy schmancy cousin of the nearby Ace Hotel, the Library Bar is the perfect winter bar.

Order an off-the-menu Matchlock because it's the bomb: bourbon, rum, grapefruit, vanilla, mint, and then some. It's refreshing, but stiff, and I never wanted it to end.

This magnificent 3,500 expertly curated tomes. Nab a cocktail at the bar and look through two floors’ worth of books, accessible by a spiral staircase. Titles cover medieval history to Audrey Hepburn.

To find the restroom, you must go through the lobby, down a Super Mario warp pipe, bribe the Orc to pass, go through the double doors, defeat Bowser, then descend down a spiraling staircase.

You can get the entire NoMad bar menu at the library. Phenom spiked cider during the holidays. Love coming here for cozy mornings, afternoons, and/ or evenings.

Put your name down for a table in the lounge on the left (if facing) of the bar, then have some well-prepared cocktails whilst waiting. They close it off if too busy so best to arrive earlier.

The Library is available only to guests of the hotel after 4pm. Check out the bar next door, NoMad Bar. Just as hip and posh. Very expensive drinks. Range is from $16 - $52 and over.

You can't get in past 4pm unless you're a guest at the hotel. Might try to wiggle your way in if there's space, but they're pretty strict with the rule and often full regardless.

To begin with, the cocktails are fantastic: the Fuji-San, Start Me Up, De La Louisiane, El Tucan... Then the food is just as remarkable.
