Non-flippant tip: Amazing cocktails. Awesome bartenders and staff. The Holy Mountain from the winter menu is inspired. Ask for something off-menu for fun and let the bartender surprise you.

Fantastic Date Night spot with some of the best cocktails you'll find in the area. They may take a little while, but you can enjoy the view of their distilling operation while you wait.

A gin distillery with a small bar attached. The bar isn’t where I want to necessarily go on a night out, but a great place to try a local gin. The staff is friendly & will help you choose a gin.

Love The Shanty on a weekend afternoon. Live music, happy hour specials, laid back atmosphere, and Jen is wonderful behind the bar. Best unexpected discovery in a long while!!

Max is awesome! Go with his recommendation! You can't go wrong! Martinez was good. Little on the bitter side (I like sweet cocktails) but still awesome!

Great selection of often hard-to-find booze. Also, great bartenders work here. We did not get one. Avoid the Christian Soriano lookalike and go, instead, for his bro-y coworker. Odd, yes, but right.

Versha S. is completely wrong!! Place is wonderful & bartender is amazing! Ajay is very knowledgeable & a great bartender-extremely polite, friendly & a hot nerd-definitely cute :) LOVE The Shanty!!!

Romantic cocktail bar attached to the New York Distilling Company. Often has live music. Worth exploring.

The rye is great, and the applejack-finished rye even better. The gin also quite tasty, and the bartenders are skilled with their cocktails.

All drinks are delicious but if you're nice the bar tenders will whip you up your own mixology drink. Be careful, they're strong!

Try every single cocktail on the menu. (All amazing) Blackout. Forget you even came here and do the same thing two weeks later.

Very interesting, come on Sundays for the live band. And there's a happy hour. Didn't do the tour, but it looked like everyone who did was happy.

Not the easiest place to spot, keep your eyes peeled. Get the goat cheese with golden raisins crostini and a fancy gin cocktail.

The house made gin is great, the setting is beautiful, but bartenders are a bunch unpleasant and rude assholes. Such a waste.
