Brandon F.: It's all about a slice of their Mille Crepe; the fruit was fresh including the melon which was my biggest test. Tasted fresh and as close as you'd get to tasting the same in Japan. Pricey but worth it
Brandon F.: This place is legit regardless of whether the decor is or is not your thing (it's like being in the frigin' Bat Cave). The servers were very accommodating, polite and friendly. Pulled Pork was awesome

Brandon F.: Support American jobs and industry by purchasing from here. Despite its high prices, most goods are made by hand in Detroit and will last a lifetime. Ask for free monogramming.

Brandon F.: Their Kaikoku ramen and its broth are epic. Also recommend their takoyaki. Best I've tasted so far. Get their thirty minutes before opening; they fill up quick.

Brandon F.: Quite possibly the best mochi you'll ever have. In business 125 years here in Los Angeles. Their chocolate mochi is rad. They're friendly and clearly take pride in what they do.
Brandon F.: As close to anything you'll find in Taiwan's restaurants or night markets for comfort food. I highly recommend the tenderloin steak and the salt and pepper chicken for an appetizer. Friendly service.
Brandon F.: People weren't so fat and self righteous as they are now ninety years ago. That's why the rooms are small. It gets the job done; you have a place to rest your head when you're not exploring downtown.
Brandon F.: You won't find a selfie stick or a millennial poser in sight. That is why you must make a pilgrimage here. Oh, and they have Smithwicks on tap.

Brandon F.: Emanuel is my local barber. His soft spoken and gentle demeanor don't take away the fact that he's skilled. Cheap and layed back... as cutting hair should be.
Brandon F.: Beef belly is essentially beef bacon. BEEF. BACON. Order everything and wash it down with copious amounts of beer and bad decisions. You'll get the meat sweats... but you won't have any regrets.
