One of the best places to happen upon in the Park. I won’t share any secrets or “pro tips” for making the most out of the space here, figure them out for yourself….there are many to enjoy.

My favorite place in the park, especially when I lived on the UES and would ride my scooter here on beautiful full moon nights. I ended up getting married here during covid on 11/7/20 -it was perfect.

Hernshead was restored in 1988 by Central Park Conservancy. You could also appreciate planted and beautiful seasonal flowers.

The area offers romantic vacation views of the New York skyline and is especially attractive in the spring with blooming azaleas, Virginia bluebells, Dutchman's breeches, and daffodils.
