Poor photo, but it was the best dessert in my life: fresh, light with just a little hint of basil in the merengue and crackling sugar. I wish I could buy that sorbet and have it for breakfast.
The duck was amazing: crispy skin, tender fat, meat that is just a little red. Burned eggplant purée just worked so well. And potato chips were a great textural element.
The egg on the photo might have had some flaws: the vinaigrette was a little too acidic for my taste, although they tried to balance it with the sweetness of the deep-fried onion and oozing egg yolk
