Home of the “mile-high” lemon meringue pie. All you can eat except for the main entree. Homemade rolls, buckets of mussels, chowder, selection of desserts, coffee/tea/soft drinks included.
Made a reservation for 7 and waited about 30 minutes for a table. You pre-pay for your food. Unlimited mussels was a great deal. Request the basement if you can for the air conditioning.
All-you-can eat appetizers and desserts are on offer at this island institution along with, of course, fresh saltwater boiled lobster! The You Gotta Eat Here book says this is a must-do when in PEI! En savoir plus
Food was fantastic, but was overcrowded and very noisy. More staff need to be hired; took around three hours. Head waitress was rude. Extremely rigid regarding no reservations for less than eight.
