Great culture with extremely friendly and helpful staff that makes you feel welcome and familiarly. Not like many other wineries that are all arrogant or unmotivated and just want to rip you off.
Any tour with Doug is well worth it. He is terrific, especially if you're into the science of wine making. Ask about his 3 sip tasting method he pioneered that balances the PH of your tasting!
We decided to do just one full winerytour and went with this one. We were happy with our choice. The tour was very informative and set us up well for the rest of our stay in the valley.
I enjoyed the iconic entryway and their patio area. The Estate Collection $65 per person is an excellent way to start. You can go out in fields and taste grapes.Beautiful vineyard!
Gostei muito da visita guiada. Atendimento cuidadoso e técnico. Degustação excelente de quatro vinhoscabernetsauvignon produzidos aqui. A parte interna e externa são muito bonitas. $30/pessoa
This is the Disneyland of Napa with crowds of tourists to match (they even do tours in Mandarin now), but the Mission-style architecture is pretty, the wine isn't bad, and it's a nice intro to Napa.
They have an OK tour, explaining a bit about 🍷making, rooms for tasting are very cute, the wines not as much. It is a big winery, providing some@history on how Napa was turned into 🍷county
If you are planning a visit to Napa Valley, this is the first winery you should visit. The explanation is great, they really introduce you to the wine and The Valley.
I loved the Harvests of Joy lunch, (Weds & Sat) but you need to reserve in advance! Check out our review here http://winerycritic.com/a-visit-to-robert-mondavi-winery/
And the final tasting doesn't take place in their shop, but in a great tasting room in those beautiful mediterranen structures providing a sense of privacy and exclusivity!
Robert Mondavi invented Fume Blanc - enjoy the well-balanced white while taking in the art throughout the property. Spring for the Reserve tasting, where you can taste multiple vintages side-by-side.
Love this place! For the ladies, don't leave without a bottle or two of the Sauvignon Blanc Botrytis. Best sweet wine I've ever found for girl's nights in! For first timers, definitely take the tour. En savoir plus
Skip the "big-name" brands and go to the lesser known wineries. They are less restrictive as to where you can tour the grounds, more friendly, and the wines are just as good, if not better.
Nice wine, the winery is breathtaking, mission revival style building, the tour is worth, you can taste before most of their wines, all included. Full review... En savoir plus
Did you know that Robert Mondavi Winery owns the oldest Sauvignon Blancvineyard in North America? Try the I Block made from this vineyard. Simply the nectar of the gods!
@ShanaDanekari & I were here for an event and it was amazing. We were both very impressed and look forward to our next visit. This is a must see winery in Napa Valley! :-)
