If you find yourself downstairs in the dance party room, look up and check out the ceiling -- the whole thing is made of wine corks! It's crazy!

It's got a vintage vibe, very dark and secluded. Great for a late-night date spot that's not in a crowded area, yet close to the subway and other great spots.

Everything is unassuming and quintessential old school NYC. Dark, grungy, but still kinda cool, solid drinks never watered down. Service typically pretty good.

Something special about this place, from the wood paneling mixed with deep beats, to the awesome bartender-hostess tending to drinks and the lapsed- as seen through a few sips of LaPhroaig.

Chill place to get a drink and hangout. They have a basement area with a really cool club / dance vibe which I really enjoyed

Always a great place to go. always a more same stop when you're friends drag you too NYU bars 3 blocks east. The no cover for the dancing is a plus

Try their Endless Summer cocktail. It tastes better w/cinnamon powder than w/the cinnamon stick. It's a very unique, strong and delicious drink...a little on the sweet side.

BEST hip hop/funk music on Thursday nights in the basement. Diverse crowd. Classy decor. I've only got love for this place. If you're looking to dance, look no place else.

Below ground, Von has a few different rooms with different vibes and soundtracks. But all are privy to late-night dancing, custom-made drinks, and constant good times.

Happy hour is friendly and quiet upstairs. Reminds me of a London pub. Would definitely recommend for an after-work place.

Great place to chill on a week night. Decent wine selection and always fresh lilies on the bar. Has meat market tendencies, however. This can be good or bad, pending how frisky you're feeling.

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month check out DJ Esquire and Tim Martell at Beats, Rhymes, and Nightlife downstairs. You won't regret it.

Not an impressive must go to. Might have been the night but at 130 on a Saturday the dance floor wasn't moving. Music was solid but somber atmosphere lead to a quick leave
