Quite authentic and cheap pub in the center, the kitchen is open until 2 a clock at night.

Definitely go for traditional meat on the stick which they hang right in front of you. Don't order beef with Madeira sauce, it's not that good.
Great tour. It's worth being there early. And definitely take the Inferno levada too.
Interesting visit, though the walk through the museum with decades old educational films is way too long.
Very nice restaurant by the beach with pleasant service and plenty of meat and seafood to choose from. Try traditional scabbard filet or shrimps.
