By European standards a good airport in terms of efficiency and cleanliness. But, perhaps one of the most sterile airports on earth. No atmosphere... just silence. Food outlets are ridiculously priced
So clean you could eat off the floors. Welcome to Switzerland!

Large yet peaceful - one of my favorite airports. Well organized. Quick check-in and security. Have a beer and relax while you wait:-) Take the train to the city center.
The food court is pretty good in the departure area. There is a good bar on the way to Gate E

Evan LovelyDécembre 29, 2011There's free wifi (really) from MasterCard with comfy chairs. Free use of iPads on the WiFi with a few games installed! Get your Angry Bird fix. Above the Starbucks, before the "departures" area.
Great Airport very well organised security control and good selection of lounges to choose from.
If you flight Swiss and have to stay long time to connection, ask at Swiss company frontdesk about the internet voucher. You get free Sunrise internet for 2 hours :)

Security, Immigration, traveling between train terminals and then walk to the gates takes time so be here well before time to enjoy this buzzing airport.
If you are not willing to pay over 4 CHF for a bottle of water: go to "Kiosk" and buy one for 2 CHF. Or get a free glass of water at "Amavita" pharmacy (Gate B)

You get free wifi (for an hour/day) if you sign up for it. Just open any page in your browser, sign up and your code will arrive by sms.

Tired of the airport retail mafia (the ones that don’t allow you to bring bottled water inside and then sell you water for fantasy prices). Go to a Kiosk and ask for 500ml OK.- water = 1.50 CHF

Best duty free shops!! 20% off from downtown prices and extra 8% if you are not swiss!! Great Deal!!!

If you have the "right" cards, check out the bar at the Star Alliance/Swiss senator lounge - amazing views of the apron :)
AirBerlin requests 12 franks for early baggage drop-off, incredible!
For grabbing a decent breakfast or some fresh food visit the Marché restaurant in lower main hall level direction terminal B (next to Burger King)
