Have been here about 30 times at least. The place is amazing. The oyster special went up in price $1 but it's completely worth it. Had the jalapeño steamers for the first time yesterday. SOOOO GOOD!
From noon until 4 pm, they steam up pots of Maryland blue crabs and offer them up for $24.95. However, this is only when the crabs are biting (late March/early April) so make sure to call in advance. En savoir plus
My new fave seafood spot! Hands down. Had shrimp cocktail, clams casino, alaskan king crab legs, sauteed string beans & sliced tomatoes. 2 thumbs up to ALL of it! Great service & very chill vibe!
The paella is to die for! You need @least 2 to finish it, and it takes a little extra time to get your order (so you may want to order the red white blue special while you wait) but is SO worth it!
The $20 lobster feast is pretty popular menu here but we got the robster roll, 2 dozen blue point oysters, n surf & turf. I can't wait to come back n eat all u can eat crabs n lobster feast!! ;P
This place is the shizzle. The paella and fisherman's stew offer delightful seafood for those who love a bit of everything and the oysters are simply outstanding. Lobster shepherd's pie is D-lish!
Good oysters with a glass of wine and great grilled dorado too. Definitely the place if you're looking for some fish. Just try to get there before 6pm or be ready to wait in line for a table.
You already know @ the red white & blue option. It's available all day & is now $9. But I give props to the great staff & the relatively solid wine list for such a local neighborhood/NYU spot.
Oyster special great. Obviously. In a group i start w that. Then have Maryland crab cake and tuna tar tar, order blackened catfish and say scallops or crab legs and more dishes if needed great meal
They don't take reservations and the wait is usually of an hour or hour and half on Fridays and Saturdays. The wait is well worth it. Put your name down and grab a drink or two at a bar nearby.
A large raw bar provides several oyster options, and the famous special--6 oysters or clams with the house wine or a PBR--is a steal at $8. En savoir plus
You should always start with the Red, White, and Blue Special. No question. You can honestly fill up with the Twin Tartar and Lobster Mac n Cheese or if you're with a friend you can always do paella.
I have to say, it's amazingly good but the blue point 8 bucks thing sucks, blue point are cheap but don't have any flavour. Get the kummomoto for 2.50 each and enjoy quality instead of quantity!
Blackened halibut, fries, and collared greens delicious! Key lime pie not tart enough for a true key lime pie taste. Service great once you get past ineffective host
This place is so good! Expect a bit of a wait on weekends but they usually seat you quickly. I waiter was great and personable. Try the King Crab Legs for starters!
Don't be fooled by the look of this casual place; the seafood is fantastic & the closest you'll get to fresh-off--the boat seafood in the middle of Manhattan. Go for the Oysters & Maryland blue crab.
They have an amazing $22 lobster special which comes with a whole quarter pound lobster with clams, corn, and fries. Also try a cup of their fresh gumbo or clam chowder.
The Red, White and Blue (6 oysters+PBR) is a great start to any meal! Excellent soups, especially the clam chowder and lobster bisque. Loved the Chilean Sea Bass, halibut, and ask for their specials!
Red white and blue special is the best this city has to offer. Try the mussels in garlic butter. Just as well dip your fries in the mussel sauce as well.
$8 red white & blue special is an incredible deal for ghe hugh quality seafood here. Cool vibe, good music & awesome onion rings too! Plus you can throw your bar peanut shells on the ground :)
Great raw bar deal. I have no other idea why you'd come here, except for being a tourist on Bleecker or maybe because you want to throw some plant shells on the floor. Northeast seafood tourist life.
Of course the Red White and Blue special is amazing. However, the Oyster Rocky is quite good; I'd call it a cross between Rockefeller and Clams Casino on account of the bacon. Yum!
So good. Get the red white and blue special for a half dozen blue point oysters with a drink for appetizers. Try the lobster or crab (with bib :), but be sure to wash your hands with lemon afterward!
