- The new(ish?) downstairs menu is delicious and has some surprises. Try the BBQ sandwich on pretzel bread. Tasty!
HISTORYMai 21, 2010This mansion was built in 1870 by Joseph Forepaugh. He sold it to Civil War veteran, General John Henry Hammond. It was purchased in 1983 and renovated to it's former glory.

Two outdoor dining spaces -- the terrace which overlooks Irvine Park, and the porch just off the bar. Both fabulous!

Have Victor make you his special: Absinthe (though he refuses to use fire).- New happy hour is fantastic! No flabby wings and soggy nachos here.
