First time here? Get the fried chicken. Second time? The sausage biscuit egg and cheese with a side of pickles. Go early to avoid the crowds or be prepared to get a cocktail and wait for a table.

very busy place, huge portions, and damn good food and drink. bbq chicken biscuit sandwich the buffalo mac & cheese are the BEST. get a cocktail and a growler of beer with your food and die happy.

Amazing buffalo Mac and cheese, biscuits, pickles, drinks, chicken, mushroom gravy. Omg I'm in love! Huge portions so good soooo good. Jam jar and the apple pie moonshine. Well recommend to everyone!

This is one of the most popular spots on the UWS and you don't need to like pickles to enjoy this southern hot spot. Best brunch on the UWS and a great place to grab a drink and late night feast

The fried pickles with spicy red mayo app. are delicious if you love pickles. Plenty to share here as these deep fried sticks make for a great compliment to this places awesome beer selection.

I've tried a lot of stuff here and it's all great. I love the ham egg & cheese on a biscuit, the BBQ jack sandwich, and the jam jar. Always expect a wait here! 🍗🍳🍓

Came here on a Sunday for brunch (more than 1hr to get a table!) but the wait was so worth it. Super crowded, but the food is good and the cocktails are great. Loved the Rosemary vodka lemonade. Yum.

Service is outstanding. Everything very delicios. the presentation of the bloody mary is epic. it's a breakfast on its own. Go 1 hour ahead and reserve your table. its worth the wait

chicken and pancakes! what a combo. Jacob's is an amazing value in terms of the calories you get for your dollar; make sure you get the biscuits, and be prepared for a wait beforehand

I challenge you to eat the southern BLT like a sandwich! Between the friend green tomatoes, incredible buttermilk fried chicken, and the towering pickle slaw this is a mountain of food!

The Founders Rübæus, or the Peak Organic Fresh Cut Pils (probably the best beer they’ve ever made), are a great for balancing the acid of the pickling liquid.

A pleasant surprise. Jacob's Pickles has some of the best Soul Food in New York City. The servings are enough for 2. Pick your favorite and go for it!

Chicken bacon egg & cheese on a biscuit is the best choice for brunch or dinner. Start with a rosemary vodka lemonade and a pickle sampler. The mac & cheese is amazing, but leaves you feeling guilty.

This place is so good. I never tried fried pickles, but now I think it’s the best thing ever. The BLT sandwich could feed a family, it’s huge, so was the pancakes with fried chicken (super delicious)

The salad wedge appetizer is an amazing amalgam of blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, bacon, and of course lettuce. True: delicious, crunchy, crisp, flavorful. False: nutritious.

Def not vegan friendly (except for pickles) so eat ahead of time! Awesome beer selection, including homemade rootbeer, and great ambience make up for this, though!

Weekends are packed, get here when they open at 9am to ensure a table. Otherwise, they will text you when your table is ready so grab a brew next door at E's bar - reasonable prices for craft beer.

It's a good place to go, friendly and with a delicious food. I've been there with my 2-y-old daughter and the music it was little bit loud to us. The food is well served! Be careful or will waste.

I love this place. Appetizers are amazing (Get the biscuits and fixins!) Drink selection is fantastic. The porch sipper is good for anyone who likes whiske. Definitely an uws staple for me.

Baby back ribs are good—the flavorful meat easily fall off the bones. Don’t forget the poutine and the specials. Just a warning: you might end up with more taters on the table than expected!

Best meal in NYC so far. Sausage gravy buttermilk fried chicken biscuit is like a hug in your mouth. Grits are just okay. All endorsed by a true Southerner.

The fried chicken and pancakes are heaven in your mouth. Be warned though: the serving size is enough for 2 people! If you’ve got room, try the mac and cheese too!

The food here is fantastic! The shredded pickles with the chicken are just an irresistible combination (even though it sounds weird). The collard greens are good too -- not too vinegary.

The honey chicken and pickles biscuit sandwich is fantastic - swap out grits for fries if you want. Challenge yourself to actually eat it like a sandwich, but have tons of napkins on standby.

Everything here should work: great combinations of flavor, extensive beer list, cool atmosphere, even the music (too loud tho). The food was bland, the shared tables too crowded, service overworked.

This place is good. These plates are HUGE. Honestly, one plate could feed a family of four. The “table sides” are big enough for a table of four or more.

I gave it another shot & had the fried chicken biscuit in mushroom gravy & it was delicious! I couldn't sub the cheese grits for mac & cheese so we shared it- it was a huge order plus creamy & cheesy.

Pancakes and chicken is really good as well as the mac and cheese ! The portions are huge, make sure you are hungry before coming or ask for a doggy bag to enjoy the deliciousness at home !

Ginormous portions! One dish can easily be split in two. Their sweet & spicy pickle is good. Lemonade is yummy. Got the honey chicken and biscuit- delicious & their grits are so cheesy and creamy.

The $16 pickle sampler is absolutely enormous, good for the whole table. You can't go wrong with the pickled green beans or the loaded Bloody Mary.

Came for midnight drunk snacks... and OMG, so spectacular, esp the poutine dish (massive and not "real" with curds, but phenomenal) + so many pickled veggies (spiced to perfection)!!!

Chicken Pancakes were fine. Chicken was acceptably crispy & moist, but a little bit spicy which I don‘t particularly like in this combination. Pancakes were okay. The portion easily feeds two people!
