Did the biscuits and gravy, awesome! As a NYC visitor, the vibe here on a weekend afternoon is not something to miss. Tons of great beer on tap.

So, so, so good. Fluffy biscuits, tender chicken and great sausage gravy. My pickle-hating wife adored the fried pickles too. Portions are generous but delicious.

Try the honey chicken biscuit sandwich—flaky, paprika-rich fried chicken topped with hot spicy sour pickles, and a biscuit soaked through with honey. Yum!

Went for brunch. Food is delicious, but portions are gigantic. 1 meal could easily be split by 2 people and suffice. Fried chicken is not greasy at all! Recommend the grits, so creamy.

Food is great, Savvas is just amazing, so considerate helpful and polite with great recommendations for us, all staff is extremely friendly. Very generous portions.

Biscuits are absolutely insane!!!! A must order. I had the peppercorn salmon as a main, and the mushroom gratin was nuts. Definitely a heavy meal but worth every bite!

We sat outside and aside from a relentless bug that kept torturing us it was very pleasant. The biscuit French toast and fried pickles were great.

You thought your ordered small fries as an appetizer? False. Your ordered a bucket of fries that can serve four. Great food, huge portions, you will take some of it home with you.

Start with fried pickles! Catfish tacos are incredible. Fried chicken that would make your mom jealous. Grits...not as great. But overall really great!

You cannot go wrong at Jacob's Pickles. I absolutely love this place. Just be ware, it is ALWAYS busy, but it will definitely be worth it

This might be my favorite restaurant in the city! The food is delicious and the portions are HUGE! You can definitely split them.

My favorite soul food restaurant in nyc. The chicken will melt in your mouth. Honey Chicken was amazing. Simply the best fried chicken i ever had!

Always busy and guaranteed a minimum 45 min wait for a table, but well worth the wait. Amazing food. The Chicken pancakes are the best.

Seriously mac n cheese here is fantastic. Choose either classic or buffalo chicken. Awesome with beer flights.

Portions are huge for the $$. Food is amazing, staff is very friendly. Very cool atmosphere as well. Meatloaf with Maple butter was great.

Pretty sizeable portions. This style of fried chicken is not the usual expected from other fried chicken joints. Different style of crunchiness and flavour of the crust/batter. Quite noisy indoors.

Biscuits not that best I have had, but decent overall and reasonably priced. My bacons, eggs n cheddar on biscuit was a bit dry. Hot sauce to the rescue!

Absolutely amazing. Get the Bloody BLT and the Chicken Bacon Egg & Cheese sandwich, you will not be disappointed.

twenty-five taps. great fried chicken. great sausage gravy. house made jam in squeeze bottles. super chill vibe. biscuit doesn't make the list, but you should still eat here.

Order any of their chicken biscuit sandwiches with pickles (hot sours!). Also, the best fried pickles I've ever had. Excellent beer selection.

One appetizer, one entree, 6 drinks—to share for two people will be more than enough (number of drinks is variable). Well worth your money.

Large fries feeds a village. The pickles are amazing. Sour and Dill were ones I tried and loved them. Great service. Great atmosphere.

Everything is delicious! The ribs were incredible. I usually get the meatballs with green tomato -- listed as an appetizer but very filling.

Great food! Got the mushroom gravy smothered chicken, and it was amazing. You won't be hungry for a while when you're done.

Our favorite spot. Jacob is here every night & is more than happy to talk to every table. Fantastic food. We've tried & enjoyed everything on the menu. Great beer selection.

I could rave about absolutely everything on this menu. Definitely try the fried pickles and anything with biscuits. The honey julep is also amazing!

The place was so dark during dinner. Had trouble reading the menu and seeing our food. Food was excellent though! Try the Deviled Eggs and Bread Pudding.

The sides and appetizers are much better than the sandwiches. Buffalo mac and cheese and fried pickles are delicious!

Huge plates of food, the chicken "sandwiches" (expect to use a knife and fork!) are delicious - especially the Nashville Hot.

The pickles are super good but honestly the fried chicken is overhyped. It's solid but not the best around. But the pickles! Pickle backs here real intense cuz the cups are real big, adding delay

Cheese grits are great. Fried Chicken is good. Be sure to bring a jacket if it's cold as the doors may be open!

Wait here on weekends are long; expect 1-1.5 hrs. Sweet tea is sweetened with honey; honey chicken and fried green tomatoes are def worth getting
