The 8:19 to Hoboken has all the seton hall prep kids on it. Makes it hard to get a seat until after mountain station. Be prepared to stand.

NJT is much better than the bus, even tho penn is a rathole and there can be delays, it's better than the lincoln tunnel and s itting in traffic on 495 and the Turnpike!!!

Towne Deli across the street is good for a bagel and a coffee or to grab a decent sandwich to take with you for lunch before you hop on the train for your daily grind.
The 7am New York express is the greatest train ever invented.
The NY bus leaves in the morning from across the street and goes straight to Port Authority. Sometimes its better than the train.
Park for free! Just avoid parking under a tree...the birds will leave a terrible mess for you!

The track closest to the msu campus is generally the track coming from NYC. The track closest to U. Mountain Ave is generally going into nyc.
What a great place to wait for the bus... OR TRAIN! Should have a multilevel parking deck but ineffective local governance kept that from happening
Both the Boonton and Morris/Essex lines stop here. Only the Morris line goes direct to NYC. If you are going Downtown via Hoboken, you can take either line.

Try to get on either at the front or the rear of the train. They're closest to the exits at Hoboken Station. One thing to note, because of this, they tend to be more populated than the middle cars.

Love this station. Recently built. It's probably the cleanest of the cleanest compared to any other station on the RV LINE OR THE NE CORRIDORS kudos to the city of Somerville for a great investment.
