Modern Concept hotel, very comfortable bar and restaurant

Stayed for six nights. Decor of lobby and rooms is elegant. Staff is friendly and helpful. But the rooms are small, there is no where to hang your clothes and our room and sheets were very damp.

I know a well designed hotel when I see one. This one takes the prize. Wood in and elegant way, 70s touch and warm winter style

Find a flight of stairs on the ground level leading to a small garden. The garden would have been an oasis if not for all the exhaust fans blowing down on it from surrounding buildings

Excellent new hotel - great view of Empire State building

Do NOT stay on floor 17 if you want to sleep. The rooftop bar is directly above and you can hear everything - music, doors, water running, clanking - until they close way past midnight.

Never take closets and rubbish bins for granted. Be careful when taking showers as the bathroom looks good but it’s not that functional.
