- RCMars 4, 2015I have to lower many other ramen reviews I've made now. This place is on a different level. So much flavor! Rich broth and the noodles, a good chew. The Char Siu was fall-apart tender. So good!
- Emily WilsonJuin 21, 2016My personal fav ramen in NYC. Be sure to get the thick, wavy noodles over the thinner, straighter kind that they use at Ippudo. The spicy miso tsukemen with cold noodles on a hot day is so delicious.
- Get the tsukemen style ramen with cold noodle which most ramen shops don't have. The rich broth and flavors are out of this world. I got the spicy miso one and will be back to try the rest!
- EaterJanvier 18, 2018Tokyo Tsuke-Men Spicy Miso: Spicy miso broth and whole slew of extra ingredients, to be added to the bowl at your pleasure. And the price is slightly less than at other East Village ramen-ya. En savoir plus
- Giovanni D'PalmaOctobre 8, 2016This place is worth a visit to, it gets crowded fast but the food comes out quickly so worth waiting. Try the seasonal ramen dish for a surprising, but you can't go wrong with pork ramen either
- eifehJanvier 3, 2017Good place for spicy miso ramen. Shop is small, so the wait can be long, but I think it's worth it. Spicy miso is rich and flavorful but not that spicy. Choose your noodles (thin, hard is my choice).
- Bryant BalatbatDécembre 3, 2015The pork broth is milky without being overly rich. The chashu is very flavorful and melts in your mouth. Make sure to order extra chashu because the one that your bowl will come with wont be enough.
- Onion ThingsAvril 28, 2017Minca is an authentic Japanese noodle shop. They have different traditional ramen & delightful shrimp gyozas, served very hot & smooth. A good place to go when you’re craving for a tasty asian soup.
- Christina ChinMai 1, 2016Minca sio with thin noodles. Char siu is melt in your mouth, egg is a bit overcooked unfortunately, everything else delish. Gyoza is thin ski and crisp. They give you a hot barley tea at the end.
- One of the best ramen spots in NYC, period. Consistent quality over the years, delicious broth and chashu that melts in your mouth. My favorite is Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen. Cash-only.
- Village VoiceAvril 14, 2015The Minca Sio, flavored with salt and roast garlic, topped with sliced stewed pork and wild vegetables, is the way to go. For this dish, go for the thin noodles; they really soak up the savory stock.
- Justin BretonSeptembre 14, 2014Small restaurant with big flavors! Sip on a chilled Sapporo. Start with Homemade Pork Gyoza. End with the Spicy Miso Ramen.
- Jeremiah BaumannMars 22, 2018The ramen is delicious. Their signature ramen doesn’t have the amazing richness of the Momofuku pork ramen, but it’s pork and chicken mix has its own subtler wonder. And the free tea is a nice touch!
- When you tire of the Spicy Basic, give the Mincao Sio a try because it. is. delicious.
- Justin JonssonAoût 6, 2014The spicy ramen is the way to go. All the others are also delicious, but the extra jolt of flavor in the spicy version makes all the difference. Don't worry, it's not too hot for you.
- Mickey U.Juin 27, 2012Toroniku ramen was great! Reminds me of Keika's Tah-roh men located in Shinjuku, if you know what I mean. I'm pure Japanese, so take my word for it :-)
- Jacob AronoffJuin 15, 2018A fantastic Tsukemen, be sure you get the spicy miso broth, it’s very unique and tasty!!
- Sarah SuchoffJanvier 6, 2014I'm not a ramen connoisseur but Minca is incredible. The vegetable spicy miso ramen was flavorful beyond belief. Huge plus - bean sprout noodle option! #glutenfree
- MarcAvril 16, 2014Tasting Table's Top Ramen NYC: Spicy basic ramen "...tiny LES spot still has its charms, among them the deeply garlicky broth, excellent pork belly with tender fat & totally unfussy counter service"
- MunchiesMai 11, 2015The miso-based broth is deeply layered, and the corn and chicken on top are tasty. An all-around contender for best ramen in the city. En savoir plus
- Pork shoyu. Pork gyoza. Waited for a table in the winter and they gave us tea while waiting. A+ for that, and always worth waiting for anyway.
- Lauren MacAoût 30, 2015Spicy miso. This place has quite the wait on a Friday night, but it's one of the best ramen spots in the city. Sit at the counter and watch the cooks at their craft.
- My best ramen in East Village! Old school and simply authentic.
- GavinJuin 20, 2015The ramen here is comparable to the Japan's. By far the best ramen spot in Manhattan. I recommend the tonkatsu ramen.
- Rachel PortMars 8, 2015The Minca (soy broth) was soooo so amazingly delicious and so were the pork gyoza!! Mmmm
- Noah WeissAoût 1, 2011The spicy miso ramen is as good as any of the ramens from Ippudo. There's really nothing else you should get here. Make it extra spicy.
- Kimmie OhhSeptembre 3, 2020Get their signature minca sio ramen. It’s pork & chicken broth with salt & roasted garlic sauce. They recommend thick or thin wheat noodles with this particular broth.
- DK FilmiDécembre 24, 2013Cold Tofu with ginger and scallion.... Ahmaaz... Minca Ramen... Ahmaaaz... Guess i've forgotten to check-in on previous visits... Love Ippudo but Minca is hands down my NYC fav ramen joint #SNL
- Ranu RajkarnikarSeptembre 20, 2014Great neighborhood place! Love the gyoza, Minca Ramen and spicy ramens. Staff is friendly and pick up is a good option too as the space is small.
- this is the best ramen in manhattan. spicy miso is perfect for a cold, rainy day. gyoza is great too!
- Alexa ScordatoJuillet 14, 2016Tokyo Tsukemen is the way to go on a hot day. Great alternative to Ippudo and other popular ramen spots - no wait!
- Shiri LaraNovembre 13, 2016Small spot quick eats. Great spicy miso. It's too brothy for me but the vegetarian miso is packed full of things! Also, get the cabbage salad. Yum!
- Untapped CitiesNovembre 4, 2014This place has a strong reputation for having incredible chicken based ramen bowls. And, like many ramen places, the location might be small, but the portions are worth the price and wait.
- The Spicy Basic is my favorite so far - also love that you can choose between thin or thick noodles!
- What's Good HereAoût 6, 2014This is neck in neck with Ippudo for best ramen in NYC with Ippudo slightly edging out Minca. Its close to Ippudo, so avoid long waits by coming here instead.
- Aleson HoAoût 2, 2015They have tsukemen which still seems to be a rare thing. The broth was very flavorful. If it's a hot summer day and you need a ramen fix, get tsukemen with the noodles cold. :)
- Christopher LeeMai 2, 2014Pork sio is delicious, although people need to learn how to eat their ramen and leave, too many people sitting over empty ramen bowls and chit chatting away, goto the cafe or wine bar for that.
- Jessie CatanaAvril 20, 2018thick broth, delicious noodles, yummy gyoza. i got the regular miso tsukumen ramen which was stellar. cant wait to go back
- Alex BentonDécembre 6, 2013Carol Lim: "You can have a traditional bowl of ramen, but what I like there is the tsukemen dipping noodles. They also have these bean sprout noodles that are super healthy."
- EM H.Septembre 11, 2016Broth in the Minca (#1) is delicious and standard toppings at no extra charge! 🙏🏼
- AlanaAoût 28, 2015Perfect hole in the wall zero frills ramen spot. Menu is large and detailed, but pick anything and I assure you you won't be disappointed.
- Aaron SimekAvril 23, 2017Good food and price. Atmosphere is nice. Spicy ramen is also good, but the delicious complexity of the broth is lost. Moreover, it is not nearly spicy enough.
- Brian EricksonMars 9, 2015Spicy miso ramen is incredible. Best ramen I've been to. Get a side of kimchi, also delicious.
- The Corcoran GroupOctobre 8, 2010A very low-key and unassuming atmosphere with some perfect ramen. Try the Spicy Miso and the Gyozas…which are all prepared in front of you.
- Alissa SimmonsAoût 18, 2013SO GOOD. 6pm no wait. Broth is delicious, different types if noodles, THE PORK IS MELT IN YOUR MOUTH, very filling, fast service, great prices (10-15$).
- Time Out New YorkJuin 4, 2013Kamada fell in love with tonkotsu ramen while living in Tokyo in his twenties, and always wanted to create his own version of the famous pork broth. En savoir plus
- Lynne VieraDécembre 22, 2017Delicious ramen, cozy space, you can get pasture raised chicken instead of pork if you prefer, delicious dumplings too.
- Jeremy KrantzSeptembre 15, 2014This modest, low-key spot offers up some of the best ramen in town. They offer various broths as well as various types of noodles.
- I've tried a few of their ramen dishes, my favorite is definitely the standard Minca Shio with thin noodles. The broth is very complex and nice, and the texture of the noodles is great.
- Escott HayashidiazJanvier 15, 2016Ramen with a more heavily flavored broth. Good go to in the East Village for Ramen if you don't want to wait I'm crazy lines at the other places.
