There is no outlet power available on the first floor - so head upstairs, where there is lots of extra seating as well as comfortable outdoor space for the nice weather.
They roast their own coffee here, and it's usually great. Try a single origin espresso or pourover and something from their Essex St bakery. A good number of plugs but sometimes overwhelmed wifi.
Coffee + free wifi, what's not to like? I've told them, tho, they need more food options than bagels & muffins. I'm paying their neighbors for sandwiches while using their wifi. Don't go broke please!

A large gloomy space sporting a beautiful Mistral espresso machine, Modca has wifi, plugs, many tables & one big communal one. They use 49th Parallel Coffee from Vancouver and prepare it acceptably.
Great noms and coffee, wifi, and a lovely backyard. Try the pesto baked eggs and an arnold palmer. If you're working inside, bring a sweater- it can get cold with the AC.
