Amazing and absurdly creative dim sum-style dishes. Not cheap but not too expensive either ($50–80/person for food). Don't worry about reservations: come by at 5 or 5:15 on a weeknight and you're set.

There is a lovely pleasure in eating modern American food dim sum style: say yes to anything coming off those carts, and have EVERY quail (the CA state bird) dish.

Lives up to hype. Affordable, bougie "dim sum" carts + hip vibes. Standouts: guinea hen dumpling, lamb tartare w/ kimchi/nori crackers, chanterelle-yuba ‘all’amatriciana’ w/ guanciale, liver mouse.

I completely and totally LOVED everything about this place! Especially the sourdough, sauerkraut, ricotta pancake. So good! Great ethos and idea behind the restaurant too and good value for money :)

Extraordinarily popular and has managed to cross dim sum format with New Californian cuisine. It can get pricey, but it ultimately lives up to all of the hype. Read all about it on WinstonWanders.com

😍😍 if you are still up at midnight just make a reservation for 60 days later. You won't regret it. Don't get too many things from the menu because everything they bring out in trays is amazing.

A decent number of vegetarian dishes. Almond biscuits with duck liver mousse, garlic bread with burrata, and state bird quail are absolute gems. Definitely a must-try once kind of restaurant.

Wise Andrew recommended all the pancakes, and we were not misled. The multigrain pancake with smoked duck and maple glaze was out of this world. If possible, sit at the counter, you won't regret it.

Besides the menu, they have dim sum style menu where they bring out small dishes to your table. Everything tasted great. Notable items were the state bird (quail) with provisions, garlic bread

So delicious loved this restaurant! Half their menu is like yum cha they come around with trolleys. The other half is order from the menu. The octopus and braised ribs are delish!

Dim sum style concept with food from all around the world. Almost impossible to get a reservation, but you can wait in line for walk-ins. They do seatings at 5:30, 7:30, 8:45

It’s dim sum style- come around with dishes that you can pick and choose. They add up so keep that in mind. I’d come here for their desserts alone though. The ice cream sandwich is out of this world!

Didn’t like that the walk-ins were seated before us (despite us having a reservation) but the space is nice, the food is interesting. The quail, dumplings, carrot mochi and pork belly were memorable.

A+ overall. I loved the pork belly & ice cream sandwich. Girlfriend loved the state bird & smoked avocado. Both of us were big fans of the cheese/squash toast, sauerkraut pancakes & peanut milk shot.

Western dim sum. Make a reservation as walk-ins will wait a long time and might not get in. Check the address, as there is no sign. Food is delicious and hard to stop :P. Staff are really friendly.

Food was innovative and tasty. Some items were pretty rich. The wine pours small and pricey ($15 was the least expensive). Corkage fee is $30 each for the first two bottles. Service was Great!

Tables are bookable 60 days ahead of time (that's the best time to make a reservation). The food is phenomenal; only downside is the amount of time you'll spend figuring out what you want to eat.
