Go for a meal on Friday night and end up dancing to everything from Abba to Daft Punk, with a fabulous crowd. The food is really good!
Cool little food market in the middle of Kreuzberg. Plenty of nice options to choose from for lunch. Regular special events too.
Brilliant vibey spot for tasty schnitzel. Lots of vegetarian options, I especially like the oyster mushroom schnitzel and Käse spätzle! The English menu doesn’t list everything, get the German one.
Cool bar with great music. Very busy at weekends. Tough door if you are in a big group.

Best place to buy a second hand bike in Berlin. All bikes are guaranteed for a year. Any problems; head back and they will sort it out no problem.

Busy and varied flea market on Sundays. You can buy everything from furniture to tshirts to old typewriters. A great way to spend a lazy afternoon.
Enjoy the murals on the road-side of the wall, then walk back on the river-side and check out the graffiti tags on the back. The bars here aren't great though. Better to cross Oberbaumbrucke instead.
One of the best spots in Berlin on a sunny day. Great beach bar, good music and a super cool swimming pool (warning: the water is COLD!)
They have some crazy good home brews here. Try one of the fruity wheat beers!
