Visit on a hot day with the rest of Berlin and you might find it hard to find a spot on the beach. The facilities are good and the water is great.
Surprisingly good Chinese restaurant! A little expensive but the quality is high. Very happy to see some good vegetarian options, including a delicious soy ‘chicken’ dish. Nice outside tables.
Excellent little neighbourhood bookshop. Has a whole section on the local area, plus lots of English books too. Lovely staff.
Super chill spot for a drink by the river. A good alternative to Yaam or Holzmarkt as it’s easier to find a seat here.

Excellent vegan fast food, really enjoyed the hamburger and Currywurst. No need to go for the expensive Beyond burger as their own version is just as tasty!
Amazing menu of Jewish dishes from around the world. Long list of tapas which are incredible. They grow all their own herbs on site too.

Interesting menu of curries and naan pizzas. The naan pizzas are very tasty! I want to go back and try the thali, it looked awesome.
Lovely space for occasion dining. Service is great but the food can sometimes be inconsistent. They have a full vegetarian menu.
