We instantly fell in love when we started with the freshest homemade mozzarella cheese served warm and gooey. Adding it to the buttery garlic bread made for a true mouthwatering combination.

Fun fact: Pay attention to the music they play because every song in the rotation has been sampled by a popular hip hop song. Great theme.

The fresh mozzarella is to die for. Chef's tasting menu is the best dining option here ($80), but worth every flavourful morsel! Enjoy!

At this storefront restaurant, the menu (in seven or 20 courses) offers a paean to the flavors and spirit of the neighborhood—Italian, Chinese, and hints of the Jewish shops of the LES.

Everything about the tasting menu is delish. Especially the goat ricotta gnocchi. Who knew? And def save room for the little dark chocolate mint pastry ball. Junior mint on steroids.

Dinner at Torrisi requires waiting to put your name on a list at 5:30 for one of 3 seatings. If you get a table, you're in for a treat. Menu changes nightly, but anything they serve is outstanding...

Everyone raves about the chicken parm, but what they've been able to do with turkey is otherworldly great. (I order turk, tomato, mozz w/olive oil). If you want to have dinner here, line up @ 5pm.

A no brainier because the menu is fixed, so you don't think at all. Rather, you taste and eat and let your dinner dance to you. Dishes artfully prepared, checked and finished by mr. torrisi himself.

Although the menu changes nightly, meals are Italian in pacing, but American in character. You're as likely to see Vietnamese sweetbreads as sweetbreads Milanese, a shrimp po' boy as tripe cacciatore.
