Top Dog in Berkeley is my Bay Area baseline for great hot dogs, and while Underdog is a bit more expensive, and the buns aren't as good, the quality and flavor of their sausages are just a bit better!

Great for a quick bite. Lots of choices, vegan options too including the potato salad which is delicious. No bathroom and only a few tables.

Love the kombucha varieties, tater tots, and vegan potato salad (you'll never know its not mayo but you'll feel so much better.) Long live Underdog!

Organic and yummy hot dogs/sausages. Tons of variety on the menu. And check out the extreme rock/paper/scissors game. Small but usually not crowded.

Delicious hot-dogs for omni and herbivores, and exceptional vegan potato salad. But beware - this place is cash only, and there is no bathroom.

try the andouille for a just nice spicy kick. nice guy working behind the counter will answer any questions you have about the different types of dogs :)

They sell single serving cans of kombucha. Delicious on green tea-lemon or original flavors.
