秋葉の語源はア（阿吽のあ）キ（気力、オーラ）ハ（八方広がり、末広がり）という説があり。 9000坪という火よけ地であったところに火を鎮める神様を祀る秋葉神社が明治4年に創建される。明治21年に駅建設で神社は移設されその地が秋葉の原っぱとなり秋葉原になったという。

I recommend the bakery on the ground floor selling the Akihabara cat mascot bread and the beauty department there.

多くの人が行き交う乗り換え駅。山手線/京浜東北線/総武線・中央線各停/つくばエクスプレス/地下鉄日比谷線が乗り入れる。TX↔JRの乗り換えをするにあたっては、新しく交通広場にできた出口のエレベーターを使うと早い。JR線改札近くのエレベーターより空いてるし、TX改札までの差も全くといっていいほどない。

秋葉原にあまり来たことがなく道に迷いそうになりますが、色々なお店が沢山あって電気製品などかとても安く買えるイメージです。お土産も買えて1度行くとまた行きたくなります。
一番近い本屋は書泉でもアトレ2Fでもヨドバシアキバ7Fでもなく、総武線6番線ホーム裏にある「BOOK EXPRESS」である事はあまり知られていない。特に山手線しか使わないと気付かないね。駅を出ないで本買えるよ。
電気街口と総武線各駅停車ホーム(5・6番線)は少し距離があります。エスカレーターを使いつつ最短距離で楽して行きたいのであればアトレ1改札口を使うといいでしょう。1階から3階の改札までエスカレーターを使って行けます。A voté pour il y a Feb 19
東京都千代田区にある鉄道駅。鉄道駅としては、JR東日本(山手線、京浜東北線、総武線各駅停車)と東京メトロ日比谷線、つくばエクスプレスが乗り入れる他、都営新宿線の岩本町駅も徒歩圏内に位置する。つくばエクスプレスは地下深くに設置されているため、他の路線の駅とは離れています。

混雑時の山手線・京浜東北線プラットフォームへの移動は、中央改札右手のエレベータの方が比較的空いてる。
つくばエクスプレスがこのまま東京駅まで伸びるとか伸びないとか。 またメトロ日比谷線の乗り換えは、駅が昭和通り口の方に位置しているため、電気街口、中央改札口から出た際は、ヨドバシの横を抜けるように歩くと階段が見えます。それにしても地味に厄介な構造してますよねここ…
반대편으로 건너가려면 역 바깥에 있는 동-서 통로(east-west passage)를 사용해야 합니다.- 最寄りの喫煙所は1.中央改札を出たら左へ進み、駅を出てさらに左へ進んだ有料トイレの横 2.昭和通り口改札を出てそのまま直進、正面にある横断歩道途中にある中洲の駐輪場脇 の2カ所。

ホーム中程、狭い階段を降りるとアトレ口、改札出てすぐ右側にATMがあります。地下鉄の場所が少々分かりづらいので改札出口は注意してください。
