Best Equinox I've been to. An immaculate, spacious alternative to the zoo on 92nd. Don't worry about bringing a lock, because they've got keypad locks. Chris Griffin does the spin class at Equinox.
Amazing club! Very clean and not the least bit pretentious. Good mix of classes at this location, everything from barre to yoga to cycling to strength training. The only con is the lack of a pool
Dumbbells only go up to 110 and there is no hack squat machine or standing calf raise machine. However, you do get eucalyptus scented towels (chilled), which are amazing after cardio.
Setting a [fitness] goal is the first step towards achieving that goal! So, set the goal, track it, and keep working towards it! Oh, and hold yourself accountable too!
JUST HAD THE MOST AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Two huge muscle heads completely pushed me out of the way and then yelled at me. I felt either of them were going to punch me in the face. BE AWARE!!!!
Don't grunt like a troll on every rep so that everyone in the gym can hear you over their headphones. ESPECIALLY if you're swinging 20s around. No excuse for distracting audio pollution
“I go here whenever I need a pick me up and to get my life back on track! There's nothing like boxing, yoga, or a boot camp class to get me going!” - Meredith, Setup Squad
