Mayorga coffee in the Delta wing has excellent coffee.
Only non-locals and republicans call it Reagan. It's Washington National.
Take the metro! It's better and cheaper than parking!
7/10 times my aircraft doesn't have a parking spot upon landing. Don't count on being early /on time bc of this.
Grab food outside terminal A if your gate is 1-5 as the food choices are pretty bad here

Jake SmithMai 19, 2014Eat before going through security if you're flying out of Terminal A. There are very few options.
DCA is basically inside Washington DC, so allow plenty of time to get to/fro. DCA is much more convenient than Dulles, which is in Virginia about 45+ minutes from city center.- You can upgrade to first class for just $90 for AA flights at the electronic check-in kiosk.
Travel with your own hotspot! Verizon MiFi or 4G LTE is the way to go!
Gate 35A is in Terminal C (makes no sense). Landed in terminal B and couldn't figure out where to go to catch my connection.
Make sure you grab a window seat to take advantage of the fabulous views from DCA.
Most Air Canada and Jazz flights are still flying from ancient A terminal. B is much renovated.
I'm a local and always heard it called Reagan National. Don't worry tourists :)

It's me!Janvier 15, 2012Gate 35A is miserable...there's a flight every 10 minutes and you have to take a shuttle to the plane on the tarmac. Plan to leave late.
If u have medical equipment/first aid bag it doesn't count toward your 2 carryon items & u don't have to check it... Sunscreen doesn't count as first aid though...
Got "time" in your layover? Hop a cab to Crystal City or subway (we call Metro) to Pentagon City Mall
