Dyna PhotoJuillet 28, 2011Try not to fly out of dca during hot temperature days the A/c is broke. And watch out for rats and roaches. I have a friend who works there. She says they have pest problem. I wouldn't eat at the dca.

Ranch 1 has great food! The lite breakfast wrap rocks, and tenders are made fresh daily!
Make sure you have cash for cabs. Reagan cab service is third world. Don't expect them to take a credit card. So embarrassing.

There's a shuttle bus every 5 min between Gate 23 (Terminal B) and Gate 38 (Terminal C), so that you don't have to leave the secure area.
Free wifi is unreliable. Don't plan on getting to much work done if you plan to use it.
If your delta flight is operated by Atlantic airlines you might as well show up a few hours late. They never leave in time.

Jeff JamesMai 12, 2011I recommend losing your ID prior to going through security. TSA seems to get a kick out of that during the morning rush.
If you go to the wrong side of the terminal for US Air gates, ask for the shuttle to the other side

Ask for the "premium" security line to get thru in no time.
