Amazing beach! Parking can be scarce and the walk down to the beach will get your heart pumping. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft, and the houses on the cliff side will make your jaw drop.

10 miles of streets, mostly along Palos Verdes Dr, from the Torrance border to San Pedro. First 1/3 is spectacular real estate a few blocks inland. Then round Point Vicente for oceanfront bluffs etc

Unending choices, vendors and great finds. The concession food is actually good. Come with plenty of cash if you plan to spend anything. Their ATMs have a $5 fee. Vendors expect you to haggle.
HUGE - go early as you will need the time to look properly. Bring a suitcase/trolley for your purchases. The vintage clothing furthest from the stadium is the best part. Be prepared to rummage!

Nice clean zoo. It's a nice place to spend the day with the kids. Though, don't go when is extremely hot. You have to walk a lot and it's horrible when it's extremely hot. The zoo is quite big.
During the summer, KCRW presents Roaring Nights. No children allowed means an adult-only night in the park with your favorite food trucks, alcoholic beverages, and things that go bump in the night.

Gorgeous 1970s library designed by Dion Neutra (son of father Richard) with indoor trees and fountains. A dream if you like libraries, huge windows, and wood paneling. Located inside a 350 acre park.
A wonderful place filled with the cuisines of the world. This place is a foody mecca. More of a bazaar than a market. Be warned the grove parking is a completely different entity.

Paramount is a historic studio, so many classic films were brought to life here. Tour was a fascinating journey, recommend the weekends to view inside more stages and sets!
Park at Lacma. The views of the Hollywood hills are amaze from the terrace, on windy days it may be a challenge. Come on the 2nd Tuesday of the month because the other parts of LACMA are free.
