Al S: Love this spot. Excellent food across the board, though it’s not cheap. Inspired beer list too, with four rotating drafts (usually local) and many of the classic standbys in cans/bottles.
Restaurant mexicain · West Newton · 2 conseils et avis
Al S: Tasty food, friendly staff, free chips and salsa. Dinner entrees can be expensive, but lunch specials are affordable and portions are large. The chicken with mole sauce is excellent. Get that.

Al S: This field is almost exactly on the site of the molasses tank that exploded in 1919, killing a few people and injuring many more. Read the book Dark Tide by Stephen Puleo for details.
Restaurant italien · Federal Hill · 12 conseils et avis
Al S: Old school, simple and traditional Italian food done very well. One of the better spots in Federal Hill, and it’s very reasonably priced too, especially the lunch specials. Chicken Parmesan is solid.
Restaurant asiatique · Chinatown - Leather District · 7 conseils et avis
Al S: This place is all about the mala chili oil; get something with mala. Schezuan cold noodles are a great place to start. Hot and sour shredded potatoes are a unique and tasty vegetable dish.
Magasin de bagels · Stuyvesant Town - Peter Cooper Village · 33 conseils et avis
Al S: Excellent bagels, definitely along the best in NY. The breakfast sandwiches are massive carbocaloriebombs. Tho location is quieter than the other one too.

Al S: Some of if not the best pizza I’ve had in New York. They offer different types (thin crust, Sicilian, upside down) so you can get a few different slices and try them all. I really like the white pie.
