Vegetarian food can be super exciting. Voted one of the Top 5 new restaurants in America by Bon Appetite in 2016 I believe. They always look full but you can get a table around 9PM pretty easily.

The dried porcini doughnuts and miso risotto with black truffle were life changing. We also had the roasted squash dumpling, burrata tostada, and bread. Would highly recommend them all.
An SF gem with lovely service and great bistro staples. I always get the steak au poivre or the filet mignon, but you can't go wrong with the cassoulet which has been cooking since the day it opened.
